We are a tax-registered entity in New Zealand, so all transactions are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and subject to Goods & Services Tax (GST 15%).
Full Registration includes:
- Entrance to all conference sessions
- Lunches, morning and afternoon teas
- Icebreaker reception
- SESOC Dinner and Awards Evening
Day Registration (Thursday/Friday) includes:
- Entrance to conference sessions on the day
- Lunch, morning and afternoon tea on the day
Day Registration does not include:
- Social Functions, tickets can be purchased separately
Wednesday Only Registration includes:
- Entrance to conference keynote and opening sessions on Wednesday
- 1 ticket to the Icebreaker function
ESE - Wednesday Only Registration includes:
- Entrance to conference keynote and opening sessions on Wednesday
- 1 ticket to the ESE Networking Drinks and the conference Icebreaker function
The registration fees do not include accommodation or travel costs.
Delegates are responsible for their own accommodation and travel including insurance and airport transfers.
We have negotiated some great discounts for conference attendees at some of Wellington's hotels that are within walking distance to Tākina Convention and Exhibition Centre. Please visit the Accommodation page for more information.
Member Rates
Member rates apply to both SESOC (Structural Engineering Society New Zealand) and SEAOC (Structural Engineers Association of California) members.
Payment
Payment is required at the end of the registration process by Credit/Debit Card (MasterCard or Visa accepted). All fees are in $NZ. For group bookings, please contact the conference organisers before completing your registration sesoc@confer.co.nz.
If you request payment by invoice, please ensure that payment is made within 7 days or advise us if your organisation has a payment schedule that falls outside of this. Your invoice/receipt will be attached to your confirmation email.
Registration cancellation and refund policy
We understand that circumstances can change. Cancellations must be notified in writing by email to sesoc@confer.co.nz. Cancellations received on or before 24 May 2025 will be charged an administration fee of $100. No refund will be given for registration cancellations received after 25 May 2025 (including “no shows” at the conference). Registrations can be transferred to another delegate at any time with no change fee.
Insurance
It is strongly recommended and your responsibility to have insurance to cover medical, travel, and registration expenses in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
